Paint Pots at Yellowstone

My next piece is going to be a compressed fabric piece based on paint pot images from Yellowstone. These are hot springs with wonderful color and textures. The minute I saw them I knew they would be translated into art someday! If you haven’t gotten a chance to visit Yellowstone, I hope you can someday because it is truly worth it.

Getting ready to start "Paint Pot" art pieces. So far I have lots of cloth strips cut. I'll probably be hunting the thrift stores again for more gold colors.

Caught in a Yellowstone "buffalo Jam" that's when no cars can move because the bufflao own the road!

Dave had many opportunities to sketch during our vacation.
