Earring inspiration

The one piece of jewelry I always wear are earrings. I have meet women who ended up becoming friends when I said, ” I really like your earrings”! Last month we went to Santa Fe and I purchased a pair of earrings from an American Indian artist. They are lovely, long earrings made from Serpentine rock. They became the inspiration for my next piece of art. It is going to be a diptych ( two pieces). The left side is finished and I’m working on the right side. Stay tuned for the other side.

I love this post. It is what makes me want to do a blog, too. The way you got your inspiration and how you developed is inspiration to me! Thank you.
